Sahih Bukhari - Book 78 (Good Manners) - Hadith NO (6181 and 6182) - Taimiyyah Zubair باب لاَ تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ Chapter: Do not abuse Ad-Dahr Sahih Bukhari - Book - 78 - Hadith No : 6181 :: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَالَ اللَّهُ يَسُبُّ بَنُو آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ، وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ، بِيَدِي اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ ". Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah said, "The offspring of Adam abuse the Dahr (Time), and I am the Dahr; in My Hands are the night and the day." ! Sahih Bukhari - Book - 78 - Hadith No : 6182 :: حَدَّثَنَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تُسَمُّوا الْعِنَبَ الْكَرْمَ، وَلاَ تَقُولُوا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ. فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ ". Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't call the grapes Al-Karm, and don't say 'Khaibat-ad-Dahri, for Allah is the Dahr.
