Sahih Bukhari - Putting perfume by woman taking a bath after finishing from the menses باب الطِّيبِ لِلْمَرْأَةِ عِنْدَ غُسْلِهَا مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ Chapter: Putting perfume by woman at the time of taking a bath after finishing from the menses Sahih Bukhari - BOOK 06 - Hadith NO 313 :: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ـ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَوْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ـ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُنْهَى أَنْ نُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ، إِلاَّ عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا، وَلاَ نَكْتَحِلَ وَلاَ نَتَطَيَّبَ وَلاَ نَلْبَسَ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا إِلاَّ ثَوْبَ عَصْبٍ، وَقَدْ رُخِّصَ لَنَا عِنْدَ الطُّهْرِ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَتْ إِحْدَانَا مِنْ مَحِيضِهَا فِي نُبْذَةٍ مِنْ كُسْتِ أَظْفَارٍ، وَكُنَّا نُنْهَى عَنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ. قَالَ رَوَاهُ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. Narrated Um-`Atiya: We were forbidden to mourn for a dead person for more than three days except in the case of a husband for whom mourning was allowed for four months and ten days. (During that time) we were not allowed to put kohl (Antimony eye power) in our eyes or to use perfumes or to put on colored clothes except a dress made of `Asr (a kind of Yemen cloth, very coarse and rough). We were allowed very light perfumes at the time of taking a bath after menses and also we were forbidden to go with the funeral procession . ہم سے عبداللہ بن عبدالوہاب نے بیان کیا ، انھوں نے کہا ہم سے حماد بن زید نے ایوب سختیانی سے ، انھوں نے حفصہ سے ، وہ ام عطیہ سے ، آپ نے فرمایا کہ ہمیں کسی میت پر تین دن سے زیادہ سوگ کرنے سے منع کیا جاتا تھا ۔ لیکن شوہر کی موت پر چار مہینے دس دن کے سوگ کا حکم تھا ۔ ان دنوں میں ہم نہ سرمہ لگاتیں نہ خوشبو اور عصب ( یمن کی بنی ہوئی ایک چادر جو رنگین بھی ہوتی تھی ) کے علاوہ کوئی رنگین کپڑا ہم استعمال نہیں کرتی تھیں اور ہمیں ( عدت کے دنوں میں ) حیض کے غسل کے بعد کست اظفار استعمال کرنے کی اجازت تھی اور ہمیں جنازہ کے پیچھے چلنے سے منع کیا جاتا تھا ۔ اس حدیث کو ہشام بن حسان نے حفصہ سے ، انھوں نے ام عطیہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے ۔ | كتاب الحيض || Menstrual Periods || SUBSCRIBE | LIKE | SHARE | COMMENTS | Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. @In the name of Allah, the beneficient, the merciful@ Welcome to our Channel “ISLAMIC institute”.
